Alan Szarp
Appearance:: Long Dark Hair, dark coat, a black shirt with a phoenix design on it, dark blue jeans, green eyes, slightly tanned skin. He has a bunch of lines etched onto his skin, similar to tattoos.
Deck:: The Dark Emanaters. He was gifted them by an inmate while he did some time in jail. That is where he learned how to use them to their fullest potential. He can use these devastating creatures with cunning speed.
Attitude:: Generally depressed, always seeing the downside of any situation that might occur. He can be happy, at times, especially when he is proven to be right on how he feels on certain subjects. He is very sensitive about his emotions, and because of this he has built a shell around himself to keep from being hurt anymore.
Back Story:: Alan Szarp's parents disappeared when he was around the age of eleven. They were the leaders of the local trade commission in his home town, Yanta. No one would take him in, and he was sent to the lower classes. He was forced to steal bread and cheese from the local markets to stay alive. He would sometimes get caught, and he would enjoy his night in the jail cell. At least he had a bed there. Soon the police stopped caring about his pursuits because of how often he would abuse the system to get a hot meal.
He found true love. His friend, Brooke, was a member of the upper class, and he was forbidden to see her by her parents. Needless to say they tried to be together as much as possible, and they were truly in love.
One day he started to change. Magic started to emanate from his body, and he created a wave of destruction that destroyed a lot of the marketplace. He was taken off to jail, and he decided to stay there. That is where he learned how to duel, as well as learning up on many different moral ideals from many experienced writers. While he stayed there he met a man who offered to duel him, and he gifted Alan his deck that he currently uses.
When he was released he had a better life than he had before, being able to duel for food and earning money from bets that he would make. He began to earn back respect until he destroyed half the town with a magical explosion that he could not control. He left in the shame of killing hundreds of people, eventually making his way to find Kal Iszarc.
As of 2009.6.15 there is no more to his back story.
